Unusually today has not involved a sandwich trauma. However we did experience fruitsaladgate. Having had a remarkably healthy and Slimming World compatable starter and main course at dinner, the question was asked as I didnt get lunch, could I risk a pudding? Pearl Luxon helpfully pointed out that I was the consultant but at this stage we spotted the most exotic and glamorous fresh fruit platter had been served to a diner on the next table. So three of us asked for fruit instead ... And got small bowls of soggy fruit salad! To rub it in, the diner with the posh stuff didnt eat it!!!!!! 1 syn for an after dinner mint seemed a modest response to our disappointment.
