Unveiling of the Rushmore Honors Award photos. The Rapid City Chamber of Commerce honors a handful of people in creative industries each year, and last night I was one of those honored, along with Beth Palmer and Ann Henrichsen (Black Hills FACES Magazine), Julie McFarland (Academy of Dance Arts), and Kristi Thielen (past Programs and Education Director at the Journey Museum). Portraits made by photographer Johnny Sundby which document each recipient of the award were unveiled at the awards-- Johnny is talented at selecting and setting up portraits that show the story of each person-- my official photo is presented here. The photos will hang in the Rushmore Theater of the Civic Center.
