Up Date East Coast Classic National Championship & Australian Pro Am Championship - Friday 31st October, Saturday 1st November and Sunday 2nd November. We have this week made a slight programming change that affects the Pro Am section only, the single dance New Vogue events that were originally to be run on the Friday 31st will now be held on the Saturday 1st November. To clarify the daily programming schedule for everyone it is as follows: Friday - Smooth single dance events all age groups Saturday - Standard, Latin, New Vogue, Rhythm all events all age groups Smooth Open events Recreational events all age groups – note there is three levels of recreational events programmed, Beginners, Intermediate & Beginners plus Open so beginner recreational couples have 3 events per style to dance in. Gala Ball – this will feature the inaugural International Invitational Pro Am Teams Match plus selected Open Pro Am finals. Sunday - all East Coast Classic events from C grade to Open and Professional Featuring the Interstate Teams Match in the finals session. Remember entries close on 9th October, we will be taking late entries until 20th October as per literature only with the stated late entry fee. At this stage we already have entries in the Pro Am from Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand and are still waiting for confirmation of entry from the USA so the Australian Pro Am is shaping up to be an exciting event this year. Don’t forget the Park Royal Hotel has some excellent accommodation rates for those dancers seeking accommodation on site.
