Up Date! Well its been a couple of weeks since I posted about my being diagnosed with Diabetes I have had several messages asking me on an up date so decided I should follow up. Last Wednesday I had my first insulin injection at the Doctors. Still been battling trying to get levels down to single figures ( that is 6) . Been averaging about 19 even with increased meds. So have to now give injections daily, ring Dr every two days with readings and he has been increasing the levels of insulin. Doubled the tablet dose age. It does seem to be working as levels are now coming down. Not there yet but I know we will get there. Yes I know thousands of people live with this every day! And I certainly am not the only one. Just one of thousands. But I have been really battling with Why I have this all of a sudden when I seemed to be perfectly healthy six months ago. Plus I have always been particular with my diet etc. the only vice I have is diet coke! My friends have suggested that was a problem but have been reassured by medical team it is not a problem at all.Yea! Can still have my diet coke😄m It just goes to show even when we seem to be healthy we still need to get check ups. Big lesson learnt. Thank you to everyone who has been giving me encouragement and support. I really love you all for it and appreciate it very much. Even strangers have come up to be and said I have read your post! Amazing how they can recognise you just from small photo in a post. I also have had quite a few PM me with their battle and its been great to be able to talk to them. And they have said it has been good for them. So if this helps other sufferers I am pleased as that was the idea of the post to start with. Thank you😄😃😄
