Up again at 5am this morning (found a Scorpion in the tent -_-) went to catch sunrise over the canyon before hiking down the South Kaibob Trail (spotted a California Condor!). Tomorrow morning Ill be riding a helicopter along the Grand Canyon before heading out to Monument Valley where I will stay on a Navajo reservation and sleep out under the Milky Way. That will be followed by a Jeep ride through the valley prior to heading for the Carlsbad Caverns. Then... Texas. (I will be off the radar for a bit as there is no reliable connection until I reach Santa Fe - Watch this space!).
