Up and at em again after a much-needed Sunday afternoon nap. Sitting here thinking about what an encouraging day we had on today. Sis. Caraway blessed us with our monthly Black History presentation highlighting Education and Christianity and how the two are so uniquely and undeniably tied together. Prior to that was Sunday School...my, my, my. Saints, we are studying from this book written by Minister Robert Thomas, Jr. of Grambling g Louisiana entitled, Pray Without Ceasing. Today, we were still in Matthew 18:15-20 and our discussion was surrounding how to handle conflict within the church. Please take a moment and read it for yourself, I assure you it will bless you. During our discussion, Pastor highlighted the following points: 1) Whenever there is human interaction, there is the possibility for disagreement. 2) To resolve conflict, we should include as few people as possible in the situation that brought about the conflict. 3) It is un-Christian and un-holy to go and recruit people to take your side in the matter. 4) It is a disgrace to God when His children are at odds with one another. 5) Not only does it disgrace God, but it discourages the faithful... 6) Not only does it discourage the faithful, but it delights the foe (Satan)... 45 minutes just was NOT enough time this morning for such rich conversation! To God be the glory!! Are you challenged in this area? Read how God says we are to handle things. It will bless your socks off!
