Up at Springbrook in the Gold Coast Hinterlands today. The Wallabies are all out in force getting up to the peaks and amazing to see. Unfortunately I didnt get any pics as I was racing a mother, who had been hit by some asshole racing through at well over the 30km/hr speed limit, to the vet. She was well and truly gone but was hoping to save her joey. Unfortunately neither of them had a chance as the joey was too young and didnt even have a mouth. Did what I could but assholes just dont drive to respect the wildlife and as such 2 gorgeous creatures paid with their lives. Who knows how many more were hit that I didnt get to after I had left for the vet with the one I did find.
