Up & at em early here at the Bearkat team hotel in King of Prussia, Pa. Will be headed out to Villanova Stadium about 10:30am for our 1pm (Eastern time - noon central) kickoff in the Quarterfinal round of the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision national playoffs. This is the 2nd weekend in a row we have spent with the team - a marvelous collection of fine gentlement. These young men are so well behaved & polite.....even the hotel staff mentions how nice they are at every turn......the players are ready to go.....lots of smiles & laughs the last 2 days....but today their game faces will be apparent, and their one goal will be to advance to play another week. Always a pleasure to travel with the Kats, Coach Keeler & his staff & support personnel...helpful, friendly & serious about their tasks always......heres hoping the Kats can show these Pennsylvanians how we do it in Texas & in the Southland Conference......a win today would send SHSU to either Fargo, N.D. or Conway, S.C., next week......personally, I dont want this magic carpet ride to end, and I know Im speaking for Bearkat Nation when I say: EAT EM UP, KATS!
