Up-date from Papa(Sunday a.m.) Austin has been feeling better - TopicsExpress

Up-date from Papa(Sunday a.m.) Austin has been feeling better since Friday afternoon as the nausea, vomiting and tummy issues dissipated throughout the day and evening hours. Since he was feeling better we decided it was safe to go to the Zoo Atlanta event we spoke of earlier so we headed there yesterday afternoon. There were several hundred people there when we arrived and we got to see many of our BBA#14 families that were there. We also were happy to see the BBA Staff that are always so gracious to everyone. Austin was so excited to see the animals and he became our impromptu tour guide as we walked around the park. Sister Brianna was running around looking at all the animals and she liked the Monkeys, of course...lol...! The weather started to get bad after we had been there about two hrs., so we headed to the Pavilion where all the food was being served and got there just in time as the bottom fell out and it stormed for the next hour or so. The food was really good and we got to visit with old friends there too. As soon as the rain slowed a bit everyone decided it was about time to vacate the premises and most made a mad dash for the exits as the Park was closing anyway and we had enjoyed as much as we could given the conditions.Even through the wind and rain the kids had a good time and there was a lot of smiles and laughter which is what it is all about!! Austin will head back to school Monday and try it again...lol....hopefully the stomach virus has left the building ...and he will get back in the routine one more time !!! Mom Abby and the kids are going to church this morning and then will come down for a small Bday celebration we have planned for Abby as she turned a year older last Wednesday. Please keep Austin in your prayers as he has his urologist appointment next week to find out just what is going on with him. God Bless you ALL!!!
