Up early. Reading C.S. Lewiss The Abolition of Man. The book is amazingly prophetic. By mans arrogance in triumphing over nature with science and an abandonment of first order principles or the Tao as Lewis calls it, he thinks he is a master of his destiny. But little does man know that this combination is what will make him subject to what Lewis calls a omnicompetent state armed with an irresisitable scientific technique. Observing the masses and how it is majorly influenced by propaganda and how the world revolves around rogue states (Iran and North Korea--itself a state that uses scientific advancement to enslave its people) that have caught on to the latest scientific nuclear technology, it is well for Lewis to suggest that as man advances, he regresses and that the more he conquers, the more he is conquered.
