Up early..it is still dark, but OH I can see the tree limbs covered in snow!! This gives me a warm and almost sad feeling at the same time. When our boys were young..the 1st snowfall was a BIG event..time for boots, mittens, hats, snowsuits, and crazy carpets!! Burt would start work on his maintained family sliding hill. Many years of fun on that hill! - I hope some day that our sons can have this home for their family cottage and do many of the things we did with them (particularly their father) - lots of campfires..lots of sliding on the BIG hill (made bigger by Burt) - homemade skating rink..that was fun too. If you have young children, do as much as you can with them, since the time goes by very quickly....VERY quickly. Enjoy your Sunday
