Up early this AM and ready to get this party started! hahah! ok, not sure about party, but ready to get this week going! Lots going on at my label Afro:Baile Records. Great news we received over the weekend! Radio BBC show - The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show! has added 4 songs from my label to played on upcoming segments of the radio program in the UK! Pretty exciting! We have radio play (songs) in over 10 different countries now! Were also finalizing a new album for release next month or august, depending on the right timing. And lastly, finalizing the lineup for the 5th Annual Brazilian Day Arizona Festival. Busy week! In the mean time, we need some music to get this day rollen! Check out my friends and label mates Samba Nonsense. They debuted a song called Rataria on my latest album - Brazil:Sambossica vol. 4! Samba Nonsense - Rataria - afrobaile.bandcamp/track/rataria (brazil:sambossica vol. 4) ALBUM REVIEWS: Oscilacao, like everything DJ Seduce releases, will ignite a fire in your hips and under your feet. The upbeat track will make you want to grab a dance partner and twirl away to the funky Brazilian beat, fueled by sultry guitar lines, passionate vocals, and a snare drum line that holds it all together. The band sounds like a mixture of reggae, soul and funk, with a twist of rock and electronica elements! - Phoenix Newtimes (USA) The cool thing about your records is that you’ve created a sound signature, a beat that represents the label. It’s your sound! And the mix here is really eclectic. Euterpe and Micheline sound great as usual, loved the Brazilian hip-hop and the more experimental tracks too. Elvis Boamorte is awesome, and the female vocalist from Sandália de Prata has an incredible voice!! Congrats on another weighty release - Brazil Vital Radio (Toronto) The true Afro:Baile sound is back on the fourth compilation CD, Brazil:Sambossica Vol. 4. As always DJ Seduce did his utmost to compile the best of Brazilian funky soul samba, bossa nova and electronica tunes. Music from various parts and cities in Brazil, something for everyone who likes Brazilian music and something really to discover for Brazilian music dummies. Grab your copy and start exploring the wonderful world of modern Brazilian music - Brazilian Blend Radio (Netherlands)
