Up for a retreat!? If so, its time to start planning for Dreamweavers, a Time for Renewal in Oaxaca, Mexico! The trip is set for 26 December 2014 through 3 January 2015 and will be facilitated by Reverend Michelle Verduzco and Reverend Darren Chittick. You will be encouraged to root yourself to the energies of Mexico, connect with the traditions of the people of the land, and find new ways to engage in the world around you more mindfully as you explore the rich history and culture of Mexico. The trip will include visits to Tlacolula, Hierve el Aqua and the ruins at Mitla, Monte Alban, Santo Domingo Monastery and Museum, and more. There will be guided meditation daily as well as journal work, a climb up the mountain of Picacho, and instruction in Mexican cooking. We will visit several mercados and have the opportunity to purchase traditional, local folk art as well. We will finish the week by creating our own dream boards that will be a visual map of the things we most want to bring into our lives in 2015. We will then visit Lugar de Pidimiento, Place of asking in Teotitlan, that is a place of pilgrimage where we will release our intentions and prayers. You can anticipate time for rest, relaxation, and great times with friends along with amazing food and sites. Please do join us! The cost of $600 includes lodging, breakfasts, several other meals and snacks, and all ground transportation. Restaurant meals are extra.
