Up for sale is Blaze, an approximately 15hh Arab x Welsh (predominantly Arab traits and characteristics). He is only up for sale due to commitments to my final year of school and me not being able to give him the work he requires, and I dont want such a beautiful horse going to waste. He is currently in good paddock condition but is not in work. Blaze has only just turned 9 years old and is an extremely unfortunate sale and will only go to the best of homes and the most suitable rider. I have owned Blaze since he was 3 years old and was riding him whilst he was 2 so know him inside and out. He has beautiful flowing movement at the trot, a nice canter and would ideally make a good show jumper or pony club horse with a bit more exposure and work. I say that, even though he has beautiful movement because he mostly prefers show jumping, but when in work he could easily be taken to a hack show or do odes, dressage, he is just more suited to show jumping. I have jumped him up to 1.20 m at home and have competed up to 1 metre though I havent jumped blaze for a while. Blaze has been to jump club, grand weekend, may shows, Lj hooker show jumping, the beach, hunter trials, and has been to pony club events, though he hasnt had much of an opportunity to go to gymkhanas etc due to my tight schedule. Blaze is safe on the ground, and when he was in work, I was able to jump on him in the paddock with no saddle, no bridle and just pop on a halter and lead rope and easily canter him around and jump him, gallop through the bush etc, and he doesnt mind being doubled either. You can walk underneath him, slide off his bum and it doesnt phase him. He is a good trail riding horse though he wouldnt suit just doing trail rides as he can get quite excited depending on the horses he is with. Blaze is not a beginners horse as he is very smart and tries to outsmart his rider if he thinks he can. He would excel with a confident intermediate or preferably an experienced rider. I began riding blaze when I was 10, however I was quite an experienced and confident rider and was unde supervision from my instructor. Blaze is an absolutely excellent horse and has a very loveable nature. Once he has been ridden for about 3-4 days consecutively he is good to pretty much do anything with as all his silly-ness is worked out of him.
