Upcoming Lane and Road Closures in Lewisville The northbound I-35E entrance ramp to the Sam Rayburn Tollway will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 18 through Sunday, Jan 25. During this closure, traffic will continue north on the frontage road to the I-35E entrance ramp near FM 3040/Round Grove Road. In addition to this closure, the left lane of the northbound I-35E frontage road between Frankford Road and the Sam Rayburn Tollway will also be closed. As work begins to widen the Fox Avenue bridge over I-35E, various lanes of east- and westbound Fox Avenue near I-35E will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19 through Monday, Feb. 9. At least one lane of traffic will be open in each direction. Flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic. This closure is needed for work related to the 35Express Project, an expansion of I-35E between U.S. Highway 380 in Denton County and I-635 in Dallas County.
