Rain fell steadily in Keene, but in Marlborough and Brattleboro residents reported freezing rain followed by a steady snowfall. Police found a man in the area of Elliot Street and Elliot Terrace who had been stabbed multiple times. He was taken to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for treatment; police havent released his name or condition. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Troy official accused of embezzling thousands from taxpayers has now lost both her jobs. Selectmen fired Cynthia Satas, 62, from her job as administrative assistant Monday, as police arrested her on a charge of theft. Tuesday, selectmen fired her as welfare administrator, an elected post, during an emergency nonpublic meeting.
