Update - Doctors appointment for Scott went well. Final pathology report shows clear margins - he got it all! Stitches should dissolve on their own (one came out by the time we got home... LOL) He will be followed on a regular basis. We go back in a month. Still in considerable pain, so was given another script for pain meds. Still not eating much. He wanted a slice of deli shaved ham, but took one bite and inadvertently bit his tongue, so it was a no go. Docs not worried about it, as long as he stays hydrated. He still takes in small quantities of tomato soup, an egg here and there, and a few spoonfuls of mashed potatoes and ice cream. Cancer free baby! Woo Hoo!
