Update :-)! I started putting together my sermon schedule of things I wanted to teach/preach over the year. About halfway through this process I got an urgent memo on the Main line from my Boss (alpha & omega; Yewah, Holy, Holy, holy God) you get the picture. The memo said Hello Chaplain Ogbuji, remember me? I see you are getting comfortable in your new assignment and humility is still in your heart but remind your big head I work through you. Please ask me what my thoughts are and I will lead you in the right direction for the hearts of my sheep Ive called by name. Its only then that you will know what I want you to teach them. Sincerely Yours, The Final Authority Enteral God. Ummmmm needless to say planning stop and my praying began. What heard was seek and you will find. So Ive spent the last 1.5 weeks observing, inquiring, and collecting vital data and feedback from the congregation on these topics: what is respect? Attributes you had in your father and ones you wanted? If you could change one thing in your life what would it be? My prep for this weeks sermon was interesting. I learned a lot from the youth. I learned a lot from God. I discovered a lot about myself. I have a lot of before me but it isnt difficult if I rely on God to guide me. My message this week is titled: Hisstory to Ourstory for Gods Glory. Please pray as I deliver this message to His people.
