Update - Please Help Pay Thumpers Medical Bills! https://youcaring/medical-fundraiser/pmar-emergency-medical-fund-urgent-/110333 PMAR has been overwhelmed by numerous medical emergencies and is in desparate need of funds to be able to provide care for our animals. We need your help today! We need to raise $20,000 in the next 48 hours to allow the dogs and cats in our care to get the treatments that they need and to honor our commitments for the treatments that others have gotten in the past two weeks. **We are thankful to everyone who has responded to our plea. We still have a long way to go to reach the $20,000 that we are going to need to pay all of the medical bills.** Heres an update on Thumper. He remains hospitalized with severe anemia and a blood infection. Not what we were expecting when we pulled this happy little pup from ACC. He is stable and comfortable. But he has to stay in this sad little cage and cant go play with other pups until he is healthy. Please donate to help pay his vet bills. In addition to Thumper, we are committed to giving everyone of our animals the care they need to have the chance to live a happy and healthy life. Wednesday Noon Update - These are some of the challenges that we are currently dealing with: Yuri - So far this is good news and the need for blockage surgery is on hold. He is not out of the woods, but he is hopefully going to recover without surgery. Banksy and Silva - Two more rescues from NY ACC that are in isolation to make sure they do not have kennel cough or other viral infections and then, like all rescues from ACC, will need full work ups at our vet to check for other medical issues. Blue - Came to us with nails in her belly and liver problems. Required 3 weeks of hospitalization. Shes on the road to recovery and just yesterday was able to be transferred to a foster home. Bones - Two weeks in the vet with severe pneumonia. Graham - This kitty had a badly injured leg that required surgery to implant pins to allow his leg to heal properly. Princess - Kitten rushed to the ER with 105 fever and undiagnosed virus. Vet bill is at $2,200 and rising. Jubilee - Just rescued from being held in a basement. Needs full vet check up and tests. Never been to a vet in her life! Sasha - Horrible skin allergies and a cyst on her back leg. Diamond - At the vet with severe pneumonia. Needs to remain hospitalized for 5 more days. Klyde - Came to us with a rare undiagnosed Right-Sided Aortic Arch - RIP Sandy - Rescued from ACC with severe kennel cough. Kitkat - Pregnant mama rescued from ACC. Chucky - Rescue from the ACC with severe kennel cough and a damaged leg that required surgery to be amputated. Meeko and Priscilla - Kittens that remain hospitalized with viral infections. FeFe, Spencer, Jasper & Jazzy - Kittens that succumbed to viral infections. The vet bills that go with each of these cases dwarfs the adoption fees that we receive on these animals. We need your help to be able to continue to rescue animals that need medical care. Please help us! In this week of joy and Thanksgiving, please take a moment to reflect upon all blessings that you have received this year and remember all the dogs and cats in need of care this holiday sesaon. No donation is too small; and anything you can give will be greatly appreciated. Please give what you can either at https://youcaring/medical-fundraiser/pmar-emergency-medical-fund-urgent-/110333 or via Paypal directly to pibblesrus33@gmail. or mail check to: PMAR, PO Box 863998, Ridgewood, NY 11386 We cannot over emphasize the urgency or severity of this request.
