Update 10/9 We are HOME!!! Actually right now we are coming home from Emilys soccer game...yup, jake came with us!! Today we said goodbye to the absolutely best medical team ever...Dr Tsai, Dr Gilbert, Emily, Elizabeth, Grace, Theresa, Christina and all of the nurses! We will miss them!! But tonight we will all be under the same roof again...I still cant believe the miracle that happened 13 days ago. Now we are moving on to the next part of this journey but will not forget what weve been through and how our experience has changed our lives as well as the lives of others. Thank you to all who have stayed with us through this. After hearing what the investigator told us today about the accident I have no doubt that the prayers of the hundreds, maybe thousands, of people supporting us made the difference between what could have been and what IS. We were told that a miracle happened that night in that ambulance. I have to agree! The dentist appointment went fine today and tomorrow we will be at HRMS to met with the nurse and counselor to discuss jakes return to school and what that will entail. Ill keep you posted, but for now we are going to go eat some dinner as a family!!!!
