Update #2 on terrier (reportedly) thrown from car: There was no news for a long time because we had serious difficulties getting phone calls returned and foster meet-and-greet appointments made. We had lots of excellent foster offers, all waiting to hear, and at long last, Scruffy went into a foster home last week, I believe it was. He has medical issues - an old leg injury, some eye problems, serious skin problems, and is apparently slow to bond to people at this point. The current assessment is that the poor guy has been a stray for a very long time without medical care for injuries and illnesses. Things are stable for now, but the next step has yet to emerge. More to come...
