Update 4 from Panama - It took about 8 hours even though its probably only 100 miles as the crow flies - but we made it from Puerto Viejo to Boquete, a highland town in Panama known for its volcano (Baru) and highland adventure tours. We spent our one day there exploring a mini canyon at a river (cliff jumping) and hiking to a natural hot springs (not the most ideal thing to do in hot weather but a super cool experience regardless). We had to catch an 8-hour bus to get back to Panama City in time to sleep for 5 hours and then get our plane back to the US - where instead of going home, Nate and I were intercepted... (see next update!)
