Update #5: Journey Rose is hanging in there. Shes sleeping comfortably. Fewer bradycardias (heart rate too slow), apnea (no breathing) and desats (shallow breathing) this afternoon than earlier. Huge relief and answer to our prayer cries. Still waiting on blood cultures (results available 24-48 hours from 5am today). Heart rate the last few hours is better (stronger) than it was earlier today, though its not yet where she usually is. The sickness, whatever it is, is still making her weak, but shes holding strong and we trust shell be much better soon. She is still on IV fluids, not taking milk. This gives her stomach/digestion a temporary break from working. Has not needed to be intubated. Just had a good wet diaper. We celebrate all happy news. Our family appreciates your great love and prayers. Shes so precious to us and we appreciate your concern and dear care for her, and for us. May God bless and give peace to all.
