I HAVE 3 RAFTS RENTED. * THIS IS A SELF GUIDED TRIP ALONG WITH EXPERIENCED RAFTING PEOPLE. *I WILL HAVE A RELEASE FORM FROM THE RENTAL COMPANY TO FILL OUT FOR ALL RAFTERS. *OUR DEPARTURE TIME CHANGED FROM 10 AM TO 11 AM SATURDAY MORNING. *ANYONE GOING THAT IS UNDER 100 LBS NEEDS TO LET ME KNOW FOR SPECIAL LIFEJACKET REQUIREMENT. Maupin Whitewater rafting trip on August 2nd: . The scenario goes like this.... I will arrive Friday August 1st and camp along the river in a BLM campground. I will be there all weekend. People are welcome to camp with me. We will put in around 10 am Saturday morning at Harpam flat. We will stop and lunch at camp as we drift by. We will pull out at Sandy beach. Trip time will be 4-5 hours. 5-7 rafters per boat. No frames and just soft coolers. Bring water toys and squirt guns. Life jackets will be provided. Fun time on the river. PRICES $160 rental per boat. $8 river permit fee. $8-$12 individual camping fee or $25-$35 per night group camping fee. optimal price is group camp and 7 rafters per boat. What that breaks down into is about $30 for each rafter plus camping fees. LITTLE things. bring bug spray and sun screen. If you wear glasses bring a security strap for them. No animals. It is very hot there and no animal will be safe in anything thats is not Air Conditioned.
