Update: 9/23/13 @ Twin Peaks Mall: These are the list of things we have done today from 11:30am to 5pm. *Booth #35: VOAD will help you register with “Team Rubicon” which is a non-profit organization helps you deep clean your businesses and homes for FREE! The gentle man, Jeff Tustin gave us all the necessary information and guided us what to do. He was GREAT! Then we are referred to go to the military tent at Home Depot in Longmont where “Team Rubicon” is based and we need to give them our personal information for them to call back and make an appointment for the clean-up day. *Booth # 3: filed a claim with Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA). -You can either fax or mail the application with a copy of your tax return. *Booth #33: filed a claim for SBA...but for businesses, the interest rates are more likely 4-6%...you should file a claim for now and you can cancel it anytime! *Booth #1: Boulder County gave us $50 for gas assistance and other transportation needs. We also received a free bus passes which is good until Oct. 31st. *Booth #5: The Salvation Army gave us two $25 gift certificates for Kingsoopers or Walmart. They also give us a bucket of cleaning supplies. They are also providing hot food (breakfast, lunch and dinner), fruits, and snacks for FREE! *American Red Cross (the truck outside): gave us shovels, rakes, gloves, a bucket of cleaning supplies and water bottles for FREE! *Booth #10: Boulder County Public Health will give you many written guidances for: cleaning, sanitizing, food safety, sewage cleanup, how to deal with mold and etc...check their website → bouldercountyflood.org *Booth #7: OSHA will give you advices for safe clean-up procedures. *Outside: there was a pet sitting tent...you can leave your pet(s) while you do all these paper works there! *checked with FEMA again if there are any financial supports for businesses, but no good news what so ever!! : ( We hope some of these informations help you!!
