Update: After looking at the latest weather data coming in this morning, Ive dropped our Valley storm chances to just a 20-percent for late this morning and afternoon. That doesnt mean we wont get storms closer/within the Valley, it just means that they wont be as widespread. As you also saw from my previous post the Valley is no longer under a Flash Flood Watch. However, our foothill spots in the far north and east Valley will still have to be on alert as storms could get a litte more active in those areas. As Ive been saying throughout the morning, the *best chance for more widespread/numerous storms that could produce heavy, flooding rain will be across northern Arizona and in the mountains east of the Valley. Radar could get active in southeast Arizona too - theyre also under a Flash Flood Watch there. As always keep it right here and on abc15 for all the latest.
