Update. As I am sure that you noticed in the pictures I posted earlier today, Jake still had the tube in his nose. They actually removed it about 2 hours ago. So far he has been tolerating his feedings through his new Mic-Key button that was placed during surgery yesterday. He should progress back to his normal tube feedings tomorrow. He is still doing ok since the surgery and his pain seems to be controlled at this time. He has had only 2 seizures today and they both were short ones (less than 5 minutes). He has been making eye contact with Britani, which is also an improvement. I have been overwhelmed by everyones supportive and encouraging words today and I greatly appreciate your prayers. God is using my son and even in our difficult and often frustrating circumstances I know that He has a plan, and I know that He is leading us through it and we are giving Him all the glory and we are waiting to see what miraculous things God has in store for Jake and our family.
