Update: Cancer truly does something to a family, especially when its a child that is unexplainable. We love Brett with every breath in our body!! It seems like this entire year has been one long fight! Brett was in the ER (Jan.2, 2014) one year ago today with an excruciating headache. Thats when our world forever changed! The diagnosis terrified us all. He tried with everything in his being to stay strong, even on the hard days when he could feel the fear in me and Danielle. He never would tell us how bad he really felt. Except when he was inpatient, he let us know how horrible he felt about being confined to a hospital room. He despise being hospital bound! Our Prayers and high hopes and believing on faith, along with his amazing fighting spirit has paid off! His clear scans was a Christmas Blessing. Brett has a ways to go...He is still weak and its important that he doesnt catch anything at this point. His immune system is pretty wiped out. I do believe the battle is won. I will give God the praise and all the glory for seeing us through this journey. You cannot fathom how much it means to us that so many have walked through this year with us, praying with us, what a blessing to have so much love, support and most of all prayers. Please continue to Pray without Ceasing that all goes well with the next blood pull and scans. I am so grateful to start 2015 with the Chemo and radiation behind us, along with such amazing results!
