Update: Completed a couple of online auditions. Realized how much I dont like doing these things by myself. I feel a little silly without anyone to play off of. I believe that is why I havent worked on my Walking Ethnic Joke routine. Performing alone has never truly appealed to me when there is no one to bounce ideas off of or someone to react to. For those of you who dont know, and trust me there are a lot, in college I had believed I could stand up comedy. I created a routine called the Walking Ethnic Joke. For years people NEEDED (and still do) to know my ethnicity. As if it is the only way our conversation can continue. Some, however, would take upon themselves to expertly profile me based on my attire. My good friend Josh Hagan has encouraged me for years to pursue perfecting it. He sees great potential in it. If anything to expand my range of characters. It is not a bad idea. I hesitate out of pure fear of failure. When you get beaten up over time in your passion, it tends to wear on you for a while. Attached is a link to a much younger me performing the stand up routine. https://youtube/watch?v=2ThgRXQ_tMs Been thinking I could do well to pool aide from fellow actors when doing these online auditions. If there are any actors male or female that would be interested in exchanging talent for online auditions, please let me know. I greatly look forward to what the future holds.
