Update, Day 29, still hooked up to a vacuume cleaner type thing that is operating well and keeping my wound nourished and infection free, Monday has now been designated as the day my wound is opened and I am taken off the machine. Tomorrow marks 30 days since my last cigarette and havent looked back, still no sign of the thirteen minutes in my mind that led to the accident/incident. I have stared at many a mountain in my life, closed my eyes and imagined the view from above and tackled it one small movement at a time and it was never seen as one enormous task, exactly how I will conquer this, one step at a time one day at a time with courage and conviction. I will emerge stronger and with faith in myself anything is possible.
