Update, Day 8: So today has been a hectic day here, so many doctors and specialist have been in and out all day. The C Diff infection is not getting any better, several infectious diseases doctors came in today and they are changing their approach, she is now getting i.v. antibiotics along with oral ones. They are starting blood transfusions soon to try to raise her blood counts, apparently both her white and red cell counts are very low. She has been getting bag after bag of electrolytes to keep those levels up. She has had an elevated heart rate that they are worried about. She is very weak and is sleeping a lot. Anyone wanting to come visit her needs to contact me first as we need to control amount of people and such, and if you have even the slightest signs of a cold or such, please dont come. We are still on neoropenic restrictions, she has no immune system of her own right now. I think that is everything for the moment. Keep her in your prayers. #savinghoohoos #cancersucks
