Update: Emery is healing pretty well from the mediastinoscopy. We have had a hectic few days however. With Thanksgiving and everything it has been interesting. The opening on his neck is doing better, however it tends to snag on things, so I had to go out yesterday and get him some tshirts from a thrift store that we could possibly modify for his neck. He has been eating ok, his appetite is still smaller than Sarahs, but he seems to be eating. His vitals have been really good. We havent heard anything about results yet, but we will update as soon as we hear something. I started thinking about decorating for Christmas the other night and realized that every year we typically go out and get a real tree (cut it down) and bring it home. However, Emery is allergic to pine, and normally takes a bunch of allergy meds the whole season. I decided that would not be a good thing this year with all the medical issues going on, however, I was not sure how we could afford a new fake christmas tree. We had friends visiting for Thanksgiving, and what did they do to fix this? They went out and got us one last night! I am so thankful for all of the friends and family that we have supporting us right now. Without all of you, we would be totally lost.
