Update: Every day brings changes...well lately it seems like every shift. Things are moving along super slow because of Joshuas lungs. They mentioned a trach this morning to help Joshua with his lungs. They havent decided to do that yet but it is something they are discussing. He did however say that they may remove the drainage tube in his brain soon. Thats promising and scary all at the same time. I keep asking The Lord for strength because it is emotionally and mentally exhausting for Lauren and I. Its going into day 8 and my heart longs for him to be awake but understand it is better for him to sleep right now. He did start waking up again today and Lauren and I were able to tell him we loved him before he was back out again.
