Update From The Council Meeting : THE FULL DETAILS OF THE WHITE PAPER . _____________________ ALL ASSEMBLIES THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST WORLDWIDE Dearly Beloved, To the glory of God, the 40th Session of the General Council Meetings of the Church held at the Pentecost Convention Centre, Gomoa Fetteh, under the theme, “Worshipping in Spirit and Truth”, have ended successfully. We are pleased to communicate some of the important decisions that were taken as follows: Dedication of Pentecost Convention Centre By the grace of God, the first phase of the- ultra modern Convention Centre that has been constructed at Gomoa Fetteh was dedicated to the Lord on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. The facility was commissioned by the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama. This centre is made up of a central auditorium of 5,000 seating capacity with additional smaller conference halls of 1,500, 500 and 200 seating capacities. In addition, there are two hostel blocks and an Executive block for accommodation purposes. The Centre has also got a 1,800- seater dining hall and an administration block. The various blocks have been named after some of the founding leaders of the Church to demonstrate our appreciation for their contribution to the growth and development of the Church. They are Apostles Samuel Richard Asomaning, Patrick Asiamah, George Alphonso Wood, Josiah Coffie Quaye, Fred Diabene Walker and Samuel William Duffour, and Deaconess Eunice Addison. The Church public is hereby informed that the Centre is opened for use. Any Area, District, Ministry or group of people in the Church as well as other Christian groups are welcome to patronise the facility for their programmes. Election of Chairman Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyinah has been re- elected Chairman of the Church for another five-year term. Election of General Secretary Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi has been elected General Secretary to replace Apostle Dr. Alfred Koduah who has completed two terms of meritorious and dedicated service. Election of Executive Council Members The following ministers have been elected members of the Executive Council for a five-year term: 1. Apostle Dr. Alfred Koduah (Ghana Rep.) 2.
