Update: Good news Gordon is awake and communication, he knew who I was and could answer basic questions about himself and what he did for a living etc. Was in a good mood and joking with the staff. The Dr. was amazed about his cognition and alertness. He is in less pain and things are going well. I had a visit with the Quality Control person and talked about all the things that had been happening and he said he was there to apologize in person. My bill needs to compensated for all the tests that were not needed and the lake of care on the part of the previous Dr. All is well now and he should be fully out of his foggy head by Sunday. Then it will be some physical therapy for all the time he was restrained in bed. He is having trouble raising his hand to eat. Yes, real food! Thanks again for all the prayers.
