Update: Grandma had a better day yesterday. She did end up needing some high flow oxygen about 6 am yesterday from working so hard to breath and being on so much pain all night. They were able to switch back to the regular nasal cannula about 11 am. She got up in a chair via hoyer lift for about 2.5 hours and did very well, they have been giving her lasiks to help move the fluid out which worked well. Her pain was more well controlled last yesterday and she slept well last night too. They are going to give her some mag and K this morning. She wants to ask the DR for some water ASAP when he rounds today. She is talking much better and I even saw her smile and make a few jokes yesterday :). I am waiting now to catch the docs if I can before I leave for church, but will be back as soon as its over. I hate leaving her alone, but I think she will understand.. Prayers continued please, hopefully we can break out of the ICU soon. #operationtakegrandmahome
