Update I begin with a big thank you to the group of parents and staff who were able to come in to the school last Thursday and Friday and help in our preparation for the 2015 school year. Tricycles were constructed, resources moved and organised and lots of boxes were crushed and disposed of. I was informed late last week that the Minister for Education will be officially opening our school on the first Friday of the term, 6th February. I expect the ceremony to begin at about 9:45 am and will be conducted in our under cover area. This wi ll be followed by a morning tea. All parents are invited to attend. Currently we are compiling a list of special guests to invite. These invitations will be going out the week commencing the 19th of January. Due to a minor hiccup, only half our uniforms will be available from the 27th of Jan. this means we wIll only be able to provide half of what people may want to purchase. The remaining uniforms will be in the school from the 3rd of February. So people can come in from this date to purchase whatever else they may need. I apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. Everything else appears to be on track for a smooth start. Currently we have 382 students enrolled. It will be interesting to see if this numbers changes significantly during the first week. Gary.
