Update: I missed you all so much!!!! Every week BT lets us down with no phone and no broadband, like other times the last one was a week without communications other than a very weak mobile signal. I think it is time all the locals complained to BT’s CEO, the Scottish Government and Fife Council (that’ll be me then .... ), what is the betting that nothing is done to improve this very expensive and unreliable service? Did you know BT is about to raise the line rental again? On top of that my new computer decided it could take it no more ... and it committed suicide ... or was it pushed?! It is now with the manufacturers and no idea when I will get it back. Great news about Salmond retiring, millions will only remember him for being obsessed with useless wind turbines, solar panels, and hiking up our electric bills to pay for them. Millions of people forced into fuel poverty and 51,467 winter deaths in 2013/14 due to subsidising unreliable Renewables (which are not renewable or sustainable). What a waste of our money! The referendum vote results are good for all of us because it was a close call. Now England, Wales, N Ireland and Scotland will get more say and control over their own areas, and ministers outwith the area will have no votes on matters which do not concern them. We must get the current impracticable ivory-tower ministers out of government, we need to experience a practicable grassroots government and get out of the EU, the Cons/Labs/Libs/SNP cannot achieve either of those things. Some people make your life special just by being in it ... thank you to all my dear friends for being there and for the kind and reassuring messages! Especially those that are helping me by sending in objection letters against the wind turbines (on my cover pic) ... only 640 meters from our homes. We are already surrounded by 21 approved/erected turbines ... enough is enough! Meanwhile, onwards and upwards ... due to circumstances beyond my control I will not be back until the end of this month and will do my best to reply to all your messages then. I do hope October is going to be calm and peaceful for everyone ... enjoy the autumn sunshine! Nil carborundum illegitem!!! xxx
