Update: Ill keep it simple or try to - the surgeon said all my pathology reports are good (except the cancer part) the tumor is pea sized cell contained and very slow growing. If you have breast cancer this is the kind to have (an oxymoron, but Ill take it ) Ill have a lumpectomy on November 8th and then six weeks later Ill have 6 weeks of radiation then maintenance after that. My other option would be to have a full mastectomy (would not need radiation and the outcome would be the same just no radiation needed - AND I would get total reconstructive surgery and a set of new boobies, which I am pondering this option because of all my back and neck problems I have) my breast surgeon I really really liked her and feel extremely confident, positive and blessed. During the lumpectomy/mastectomy they will check my lymph nodes and if it has spread then we will go from there which would be chemo etc. but Im positive that is not going to be the case. I just have to get through this one day at a time. Its going to be a long road to fight but I know God has a plan for me and with the amazing support of everyone I know I can get through this.
