Update: In West Union, Iowa, you may not own a dog that even RESEMBLES a Pit Bull. So, although Bailey the Boston Terrier looks like a Pit Bull but isnt actually a Pit Bull, she cant live here. Our Police Chief was only doing his job, as outlined by our city ordinances. A few months ago, we begged our council to get rid of this Pit Bull ordinance, but 3 of our 5 council members voted to keep it unchanged, and, funny story, one of the naysayers wasnt even living in our town at that time...but thats a story for another day. THIS ORDINANCE MUST CHANGE.
