**Update** Kai had his 2 week post op check today and was giving the go ahead to start hydrotherapy (swimming) to get his back legs moving. Mostly its his right leg that he does not want to use and will hike it up. But the vet said with a little physical therapy he should be good to go in no time. Yay!!! With a lot of help from a fellow Lab Rescue Volunteer who has been helping with the logistics, (Bonnie Torre) he will also be getting a comfy tube that goes around his neck when he sleeps so that his chances of aspiration is less and a brand new Bailey chair from the Bailey chair company. 100% donated. This boy is one lucky pup. Way to go Kai. We are working on a safe high calorie diet so we can his weight up.
