Update: Mom is doing well. She is doing great off the vent. She is drinking and they will let her eat in a little while. They will check her kidney function in the early morning hours. They said if she continues doing well they will move her out of icu tomorrow. A surgeon will come later for them to decide what they are going to do about her arm. They said it could be 6 months to recover. The doctor said he was ecstatic that she was talking because he didnt know if she would be alive. My heart is so thankful for how well she is doing. God knows what we can handle. I really didnt know how I was going to be able to handle it when they took her off the sedation. But God showed up and amazed me and calmed my nerves. All praises and Glory to God. Who is Great and Merciful!!!
