Update Monday 8/11/14 7:50pm Wendy- Physical therapy is going to be so hard for Drew...he cries a lot during that time of day, but some of that could be the meds...she made him try to push his own chair today and it just flat wore him out! Hes doing better everyday, and slowly working off those meds! Tomorrow is surgery at 11:30 to put the rubber band things on his leg and hip to stretch the skin. They will continue to tighten them until the skin is close enough to stitch closed...also going to stitch the lower back together tomorrow...then sometime either tomorrow or Wednesday they will put a cap over his trach for 24 hrs, and if he does well with that they will take his trach out. So happy about that! Please pray there will be no set backs from the surgery tomorrow...
