Update. My dad is FINALLY home. He was so happy to be in his bed tonight. We had some father-daughter time and then I sat there quietly and watched him doze off. Bill wrote down a note of all the medications he has to take and organized them so my mom knows exactly what kind is needed and when. My mom made him soup for dinner and he said thank you, that was nice, now where is the main course? That made me laugh. It seems he is getting a bit more of an appetite. His cognitive functioning is still a little foggy, but there is improvement. He was able to walk to the other room upstairs for dinner, which is for now his dining area until he is able to walk down the stairs on a regular basis. We also gave him a bell, so if he needs something, he just has to ring. So ill be heading over to my parents house a few days a week to help with cooking and whatever else is needed, plus going with my mom to all the appointments. Small improvements, but still many doctors to see coming up. One day at a time. Thanks everyone. PS. Didnt pass out at the hospital today.
