Update: Now in Deshaise, Guadeloupe, day 17 of my 35 day sailing extravaganza. Brian, Doug and Vince and i sailed from Montserrat last night from 5pm to 12:30pm, after touring the island that was decimated by volcanos in 1997 and 2010, very depressing and the bad karma there is following us around: the water is not pumping, one of the toilets stopped working, a water line leaked into the battery compartment but i caught it in time, another leak came back, etc. I had never been to Montserrat and i will never be back. pictures later, lots of lava fields and deserted homes, very sad...lousy goat water and not so good rotis also, i hope they make a comeback but it wont be with me! we sailed from St. Barth to Mont the whole night before, 75 miles, and that was a nice sail and st barth is always great! Will be in Les Saintes tomorrow, the back in Dominica! Friday leaving for Martinique for a ten day charter to St. Lucia and Dominica, the adventure continues!
