Update ON ASH:South Albany Parents and Families Based on the extensive investigation of the Albany Police Department there is no further need to be concerned about student safety from this threat at South Albany High School. The police are working on several leads in an ongoing investigation. The focus has shifted to determining the person who wrote the message. Any additional information about this case can be reported to a South Albany administrator or directly to School Resource Officer John Trantham ([email protected]). We take any threat to student safety very seriously and believe the decision to launch a large scale investigation was the appropriate choice. As the investigation moves forward, I will share additional information as I am able to. Thank you and we hope to see everyone at school tomorrow morning.
