Update On Thayer: God has answered our prayers!! Thayer may not have to have surgery. The arch/canal is closing berween his two arteries but not pulling the damaged artery shut like the cardiologist thought it would. He will be monitored after he is released to watch the holes in his heart and the damaged artery and valve. He may get to go home sometime next week. They want to watch him and keep an eye on his oxygen levels before they release him and also to treat his jaundice. He will be seeing the same cardiologist he is seeing now once he is out of the hospital. Surgery may still be in his future but not right now maybe months or even a few years down the road. But he is monitoring him closely in case anything happens. God is so good and so faithful and we just appreciate all of your prayers and love and support in this time. Thayer has a long road still ahead of him physically but we know that God is good and in control of all this! Keep up the prayers friends and family!
