Update: Overall miles has been continuing to do well and show more improvement everyday. Unfortunately we were a little over optimistic about taking his feeding tube out and we had to put it back in on Sunday so that he is getting enough calories to continue gaining weight. Hes currently weighing in at a whopping 9lbs 8 1/2 oz! Finally, sitting next to his best friend (who is a week younger) he looks like a normal 11 week old boy. Hes playing catch up well! :) We have an appointment at duke on the 17th with his ENT(ear,nose,throat) specialist regarding his partially paralyzed vocal chord but over the past few days his voice has gotten so much stronger that it is no longer a worry in my mind. We also want to say how very grateful and mind blown we are that Jeremy & Brandy did the Miles for Miles run yesterday - ALMOST 45 miles in 12 hours!! You two are superheroes yourselves, thank you so much for your support!
