Update: Parker has been resting well today. There was a constant flow of people in and out of his exam room in the ER last night and they didnt get us into his room on the floor until 5:30 this morning, so he was tuckered out! He has a respiratory virus, but just couldnt manage the secretions and maintain his oxygen saturation well enough on his own. They are deep suctioning him as needed. Once they can wean his oxygen back down and he is able to stay stable with his saturation for at least 12 hours, his work of breathing goes back to normal, and he can manage his secretions, then well be able to go home. Were hoping that will just be a couple of days or less :)
