Update Pollo >>>>> Our beautiful Weimy girl Pollo has really settled in at her foster home, She has a routine and adores being around her foster sisters who have both accepted her, She has a lot of love which was just what she needed, Her foster mommy reports she is all puppy she has a mischievous side and they love it. They also tell us that bringing Pollo into the family has livened up the other 2 girls. Pollo`s foster sister Bella was adopted from us 2 years ago. Pollo has enjoyed trips to the park and last week they all headed to her foster familys beach house and had a great time. Pollo is now also responding to commands and words in English she originally came from a family that only spoke Spanish which was a task for Lifeline while she was in VHA. Pollo has been temporarily moved over to Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialists for her next dental and jaw surgery which will commence on Tuesday. After her dental she will be returned to VHA for more X-rays on her pelvis and rehab program. Pollo is calm very loved and is enjoying her new rescue journey. She is making a remarkable recovery and both Lifeline and Pollo thanks every single one of you that made her recovery and new life possible. It is so hard to look back to the early part of November seeing her for the first time in a bloody and critical condition. We cannot tell or thank everyone enough for the love and support of our precious girl her life has turned around and it will only get better. Pollo is a very fortunate and lucky girl to have so many wonderful people and the backing of our Weimaraner community that worked tirelessly fundraising to give Pollo a second chance, We must never forget there are lots of Pollo`s out there that are not as lucky as Pollo. Rescues need help all the time with cases similar and some worse than Pollo so please remember to support your local rescues any way you can, Pollo sends you all a huge thank you and a big Weimy Hug xx #pollostrong
